Unless caused by you or a family member or any person living at or invited to the insured location

Not including loss or damage to the item that exploded

Escape of liquid
From certain sources like fixed guttering and fixed pipes. Not including damage to item from which the liquid escaped
Animal damage
Where the animal becomes trapped inside the insured location, it does not belong to you or anyone living at the insured location and was not allowed inside the insured location
Earthquake and tsunami
Excluding actions of the sea

Personal Liability
Personal Liability to others for Bodily and Mental Injury and Property Damage of $20 million, including covered legal costs.
Theft, attempted theft or burglary
With forcible and violent break-in, and not by you or a family member or any person living at or invited to the insured location
Impact from certain sources
Like motor vehicles and falling trees

The following additional benefits are included with your contents cover and are paid in addition to your sum insured, unless stated otherwise in the PDS or an exclusion applies.

Damaged contents removal
Cover for the necessary and reasonable expenses to dispose of damaged contents following a covered claim.
Food, medicine and wine spoilage
Replacement of food, medicine or wine which spoils due to changes in temperature caused by certain events.
Alternative accommodation
The reasonable cost of temporary alternative accommodation required following a covered claim.
Emergency repairs
Cover for emergency repairs at the insured property to protect your contents from a defined event.
Contents in transit
Cover for certain contents lost or damaged in transit to the insured location caused by certain events. This benefit is not in addition to your sum insured.
Emergency preventative measures
Costs for emergency preventative measures to protect your contents from storm, flood or bushfire.
